Have you ever tried putting frozen chicken in the crockpot on low for a few hours? No thawing involved and it cooks evenly and beautifullly in it's own juices. It's a lifesaver for someone like me who hates to deal with gross raw chicken!

lizzie: funny thing is that i could care less about dealing with raw chicken... it's just about the process of pulling the frozen chicken out of the freezer and thawing it (in either water or in the microwave). i'm just impatient... thus a crockpot would not resolve my problem. :) thanks for the suggestion though. i'll have to try it sometime.

Well....I hate cutting up raw chicken. I hate how you have to freeze the remains until trash day otherwise your trash can begins to smell something awful by the next morning....

Slap me a high five, girl, I am right there with you. I despise raw poultry. Almost enough to become a vegetarian about it.

Almost.

I'm all for throwing it frozen in the crockpot or on the barbeque... I'm with Lizzie...
